Partnership Includes Release of SKUs for Discovery Kids & Discovery Adventures Brands in Q3 2016

LAS VEGAS (January 6, 2016 – CES Booth #13228)– Sakar International today announced a license agreement with Discovery Consumer Products,  the licensing arm of Discovery Communications, for development of camera, audio, music and other products to be released in North America under the Discovery Kids and Discovery Adventures brands.  The agreement is the latest in an expanding list of partnerships for the established Discovery Kids brand and growing Discovery Adventures brand.

For Discovery Kids, Sakar is developing several products including headphones, earbuds, speakers, boom boxes and karaoke machines as well as digital, still, video, action and wearable cameras, all targeting kids ages 6-12. The line also will include electronics designed for kids channeling their inner spy including walkie talkies, text messengers, role-play electronic kits, biometric scanners, and black light decoders. All products will align with Discovery Kids’ mission of nurturing children’s sense of real-world adventure, exploration and curiosity.

For Discovery Adventures, which is dedicated to fostering an interest in outdoor travel and exploration, Sakar is creating a variety of waterproof products including cameras, Bluetooth speakers and mobile accessories as well as camping accessories, flashlights and binoculars.

The first products in both series will ship in the third quarter of 2016, expanding merchandise offerings from the world’s most recognized TV brand.

Sakar will be exhibiting at Booth #13228 at the Las Vegas Convention Center Central Hall at the 2016 International CES conference running January 6-9 in Las Vegas.
