FALL TOY PREVIEW, DALLAS (October 7, 2014) – Audio and electronics leader Sakar International today announced it will launch an extensive new line of karaoke and audio products, cameras and youth electronics under an expansion of its long-standing license with Hasbro. Sakar announced the new lines featuring NERF, NERF Rebelle, My Little Pony, Equestria Girls, Littlest Pet Shop and Transformers: Robots in Disguise (the TV series) at the 2014 Toy Industry Association’s Fall Toy Preview going on now through October 9 at the Dallas Market Center/World Trade Center.

The newly expanded product line will include a broad range of karaoke machines, headphones, speakers and other audio accessories, action cameras, walkie-talkies, text messengers and other youth electronics featuring the iconic brands. For the Equestria Girls line, Sakar will produce a series of musical instruments on the heels of the Sept. 27th debut of Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks, a sequel to the 2013 spin-off of the $1.5 billion My Little Pony franchise.

After 30 years, My Little Pony continues to be a fan favorite now spanning two generations with more than 100 million ponies sold, a top-ranked television show and one of the Top 100 movies for kids on iTunes.  Sakar will create My Little Pony-branded karaoke systems, smartphone and tablet cases, volume limiting headphones, digital camera, musical instruments, and more.

The extremely successful NERF brand just celebrated 45 years of providing fun, invigorating action with attitude for kids and young adults. The newest addition to the NERF brand, NERF Rebelle, caters to the female audience, supporting “girl power” and encouraging girls to tap into their inner strength to save the day. The new NERF and NERF Rebelle lineup includes action cameras that can be mounted on to bicycles, helmets and NERF blasters that capture first-person POV of every exciting adventure.

“It’s been such a privilege to have this long-term relationship with Hasbro, and we’re thrilled to continue delivering the innovative toys, electronics and accessories in the most popular brands that are universally loved by kids of all ages,” said Liza Abrams, VP of licensing with Sakar.

Sakar expects the new products to be available in-store this spring. To learn more about the complete line of Hasbro electronics, audio accessories and musical products by Sakar, visit Booth 12-1400 on Level 12 during the 2014 Fall Toy Preview or visit www.sakar.com.
